Hunger Games: Catching Fire will hit theaters Nov. 22. In honor of the film, Travelfore thought up a list of hotels inspired by the post-apocalyptic nation of Panem, where the story is set.
Check out the list of hotels below and may the odds of scoring a reservation be ever in your favor!
Treehotel, Harads, Sweden
Before Katniss was a tribute, she spent her time hunting in the wilderness. During the Hunger Games, she often finds herself hiding from danger up high in a tree. Have a similar experience at Treehotel. Don’t worry, it’ll definitely be comfier than the trees Katniss hid in.
Bubble Hotel – Mullihotell, Suur-Rootsi, Estonia
The Hunger Games competition places the tributes inside a dome in a remote location to fight for their lives. Bubble Hotel in Estonia gives you that experience without all the fighting and death and stuff.
nhow Berlin, Berlin, Germany
When Katniss and Peeta arrive at the Capitol, they experience a new world full of extravagant luxury, bright colors and bizarre, futuristic styles. Get your fill at nhow Berlin hotel, which has the bright colors and modern look, but not the other bizarre Capitol features.
Sleepbox Hotel, Moscow, Russia
Sleepbox Hotel is reminiscent of the launching room where Katniss spends her finals minutes before the games begin. The sparse, no-frills hotel is modern and has that eerie post-apocalyptic feel, minus the apocalypse.
Sheraton Diana Majestic Hotel – Milan, Italy
Katniss and Peeta’s home town in District 12 is centered on the coal mining industry. This all-black hotel in Milan brings to mind those dark underground mines. For a really immersive experience, check out the blackout rooms.
Museum Hotel, Cappadocia, Turkey
The cave where Katniss and Peeta share their first kiss was definitely not as luxurious as Turkey’s Museum Hotel, but it’ll give you the same feel. Pay tribute to the Hunger Games dream team with your own cave stay.
Hôtel Fouquet’s Barrière, Paris, France
Side with the villain and live like a corrupt Capitol official at the luxe Hôtel Fouquet’s Barrière in Paris. Glitz is assured, as this is one of the world’s most glamorous accommodations.
Longitude 131, Ayers Rocks, Australia
The tributes have survival skills most of us can’t even fathom…Many of us can’t even survive a basic camping trip. To get the feel of outdoor living without sacrificing the luxuries of a hotel stay, check out Longitude 131, a five-star tent hotel.
